Overview

HumaraMusic respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable laws.

How Our Service Works

HumaraMusic does not host music files directly. Music playback is provided through YouTube's embedded player. We provide metadata (song titles, artist names, album information) and curate collections to help users discover South Asian music. If you have concerns about a YouTube video, you may also file a claim directly with YouTube.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on HumaraMusic infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated agent with the following information:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to locate it on our service (URL preferred)
4. Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email)
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification containing: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake; and your contact information with consent to jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright in appropriate circumstances.

Response Time

We aim to process valid DMCA takedown notices within 48 hours of receipt. Content will be removed or disabled pending resolution.
